In this tutorial, we'll cover how to delete a class in Educate. There are several scenarios where you may want to delete a class in Educate. Here are just a few that may apply:

• Class is no longer active
• Students have completed the school year
• Accidentally created a duplicate
• Clean up number of classes in account

Once deleted, students and class are also deleted from the platform. Watch the video below to learn how to delete an Educate class from your teacher account!

Only teachers who are listed as the Class Admin for that class can delete it in Educate. Let's dive in to the steps to delete a class from Educate:

1. Log in to your teacher account and click on the Classes link in the user menu.
2. Hover over the class you wish to delete and click the Edit button link.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit the Class page and click the Delete button
4. Educate will prompt you to confirm that you want to Delete the class or Cancel.
5. Click the Delete button to confirm your action. The class is now deleted!

Once a class has been deleted, it's data is no longer stored in the Educate platform.
