In this tutorial, we'll cover how to remind students of pending and outstanding assignments. To begin, make sure you've assigned an Assignment to your students. Learn how to do this in the Tutorial: Using Assignments library article. Once an Assignment is active, you can send your students reminders if work is pending.

Let's dive into how to send in-platform reminders to your students regarding Assignments!

1. To view active Assignments, click on the Assignments menu item. Here, you'll see all active Assignments (ie. those that you've set due dates / points) in one place and you can filter by class.
2. Locate the Assignment you wish to check and click the View Submissions button.
3. For pending Assignments, reach out to students by checking those pending students and add a Reminder Text message and click Send Reminder.

Students will receive a notification that you have sent them of this reminder and direct them to the Assignment.
