Tutorial: Student Activity & Progress
In this tutorial, we'll take a look at how student activities and progress is communicated in Educate. As students work through the content assigned to them in the course, teachers can keep tabs on student progress in the following ways:
- Recent Activities - As students complete items, such as lessons, assignments or quizzes, teachers can view a live feed on their Dashboard under the RECENT ACTIVITIES section. Clickable links to the student's profile and the completed material are present in this feed.
- Notifications - When students submit work, such as assignments or quizzes, or join a class, teachers will receive notifications of this activity in their accounts. This can be seen by hovering over the bell icon in the upper right user menu.
- Submissions - As submissions for active assignments and quizzes are received, teachers will be able to monitor students who have submitted work and also those that are still pending.
